Mark Your Calendars for AgelWorld 09 in Salt Lake City

It's official. AgelWorld 09 will be held Thursday through Saturday, September 3-5, 2009, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. (Black Tie events will begin on September 2nd by invitation only.)

With Agel set to take possession of its remarkable new World Headquarters building in Lehi, Utah-just south of Salt Lake City-Agel Executives wanted to keep its 2009 convention close to home.

"We are so proud of this building," Agel President Craig Bradley said recently. "It is stunning to look at and walk through." It has been built to the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmentalism and is a fitting symbol of our continued growth and everything that Agel stands for as a company. "We want everyone to be able to see our new headquarters and come to know us again as a company," Craig Bradley said.

The weekend of September 3-5 is right before Labor Day (Monday, September 7, 2009) here in the United States and represents that last full weekend of the summer vacation season.

In accordance with that timing, Agel is planning a host of family-oriented activities around the general sessions of the convention and encouraging Agel team members to bring their families with them to Utah. Family activities will be scheduled on Wednesday, September 2nd, Thursday September 3rd, and Sunday, September 6th. Babycare and childcare and a youth center (for teenagers) will be provided during Friday and Saturday's convention hours, so you can focus on your business.

"Utah is a known throughout the world as a capitol of outdoor activities and recreation," explained Agel Director of Events and Promotions Cynthia Mitchell. "And there is no more family-oriented major city in the world. We are planning trips to the mountains, amusement parks, and other activities that will truly make the AgelWorld weekend a memorable experience for everyone-including teenagers and small children. We will also be doing a family walk/run on Saturday morning to have fun and raise money for the AgelCares Foundation." Details to follow soon. Registration will be online and will be announced soon.
