Agel Announces Structural Changes
Posted: March 31, 2009
As you are probably aware, Agel has continued to post steady growth through the first quarter of 2009 despite an economic downturn worldwide. The Agel message continues to resonate worldwide--now more than ever--and we thank you for all you are doing to share it.
As Agel continues to grow, it becomes more and more important to begin pushing key decision-making for day-to-day operations down to the local level. This will require better organization and an increased effort to coordinate such things as inventory levels, distribution, promotions and marketing efforts.
Today Agel President and COO Scott Bocklund announced some structural changes that will help Agel begin to better coordinate its regional operations and empower local decision-making. This new structure is the result of much careful thought and deliberation by Mr. Bocklund and Agel's Board of Directors. We believe it puts the right people in the right positions and will set the stage for even more sustained growth and development in the months and years to come.
Among the changes announced were the following, all of whom now report directly to Mr. Bocklund:
Jeff Higginson, Executive Vice President of Global Sales – Jeff will be responsible for our global sales efforts working in cooperation with our GM’s.
Darren Jensen, Executive Vice President and General Manager of SE Asia and the Pacific Rim – Darren will be directing our GMs in Thailand, Korea, The Philippines, Viet Nam, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Jeremiah Bradley, Vice President and General Manager of Latin America – Jeremiah will be our GM overseeing Mexico, Central America and South America.
Brent Jensen, Vice President and General Manager of MEA – Brent will be directing our GMs in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Israel, Turkey, Nigeria, South Africa and India.
William Amzallag, Vice President and General Manager of Europe – William will be our GM of Europe.
Jesse Riddle, Executive Vice President Legal and General Counsel – Jesse will oversee all corporate legal matters.
Mica Moseley, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Agel Cares – Mica will be responsible for Customer Service and Retention, The Agel Cares Foundation, The Health and Wellness Council, and Product knowledge and training.
Dave Harkness, Vice President of Global Marketing – Dave will be responsible for our global marketing efforts working in cooperation with our GM’s.
Please join us congratulating and supporting these individuals in their new and expanded roles.
