Join Agel's Diamond Directors in "Diamonds for Destiny"
Posted: June 25, 2009
Today Triple Diamond Director Randy Gage and Agel's Executive Vice President of AgelCares Mica Moseley announced the launch of a $1 million AgelCares initiative called "Diamonds for Destiny."
Agel Diamond Directors, Corporate Directors, Senior Directors and other key leaders will be marshalling their efforts to raise one million dollars by the end of the year for AgelCares. The money will be kept in a special account and will be used to build a clinic and boarding house for children with deformities and their fmailies to come and receive medical attention.
The AgelCares "House of Hope" will be built in Belém, Brazil, at the estuary of the Amazon River. Those who are instrumental in raising the money will be traveling to Belém at the end of the year on a charitable mission of giving.
"Giving back is one of the things that really defines us as a culture here at Agel," Randy Gage said. "And this is a way for Agel's leaders to step up." The idea occurred to him at the recent International Leadership Summit in San Diego, California.
"Picture a green AgelCares plane or bus full of ready hands landing like an Agel Special Ops of caring," added Mica Moseley.
